When will you be open?

We will be opening oficially on the 18th February 2017.

After that date we will be open all weekends and also during school holidays (check our opening times page for more information on our opening dates).

Is the site accessible for visitors with mobility difficulties?

Our indoor buildings are accessible and we have an accessible toilet in the main building.

Outside the paths around the meerkats are accessible, but the geocell root protection system which is used to protect the trees in the arboretum is packed with gravel, so this path can be a bit hardgoing in some places. There is also one set of pavement lips that cannot be removed due to their proximity to our Hungarian oaks - these are fairly shallow but might be difficult if people are using manual wheelchairs.
