Supporting Project Moon Bear
Project Moon Bear works tirelessly to rescue Asiatic black bears — often known as moon bears because of the crescent marking on their chest — and give them a second chance at life.
Funds raised from the Bear Run 2026 will go directly towards:
- Essential veterinary equipment
- Anaesthetic and monitoring equipment to safely sedate bears for health checks
- Resources needed for secure and stress-free relocation
- Signage to help raise awareness of the vital work Project Moon Bear do
These tools are critical in ensuring every rescue and rehabilitation is carried out safely — for both the bears and the conservation teams working to protect them.
