Conservation Heroes: February Half-Term!

Date: 19/02/22 - 27/02/22

Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park

Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park is encouraging younglings and grown-ups alike to become wildlife and conservation heroes this February half-term!

Join us from February 19th-27th as we challenge our visitors to becomes heroes - through a range of exciting and engaging trails, exhibits and tasks. Those who complete all four tasks will receive their very own Conservation Hero certificate.

Planet Earth, and all the species that call it home, are under increasing pressure due to climate change, habitat destruction and poaching - just to name a few - but it's not too late to change things. We can turn the tide, and prevent our planet's beautiful species from becoming extinct - but we need your help! Through learning about these threats, and making changes in our daily lives, we can tackle the threats our favourite animals face.

Participants are encouraged, but not required, to donate to the World Land Trust - in an effort to raise funds for endangered species and spaces.

Conservation Heroes will have a series of additional activities including special talks and demonstrations, crafts, activities and trails. All activities are included in the standard admission rate. Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park is open 7 days a week throughout February half-term, 10:00AM-17:00PM (last entry 16:00PM).

Pre-booking not essential. For further information, please contact the park via wildlfie@askham-bryan.ac.uk or call us on 01904 772270!
